Note: (HANA is just a name doesn’t
have any acronym.)
SAP HANA is in memory database and is
very fast 10 times more in fact compared to Traditional database. SAP HANA
is provided as a database Appliance.
This leverage the technologies like: Low Cost main memory RAM,
Multi core Processors, Solid state drives (These do not have any spinning
technologies - so data is available very fast)
ETL and Data marts: Extraction, Transformation and Loading and Data marts are subsets of Data warehouse.
Business Intelligence: This BI is useful to analyze the past using BI tools and helps to improve the future.
BI Work Flow: Past (Raw Data) is transform to Meaning Full Information Then Transform to Future (More Profits {increase revenue & Reduce Cost} as well Stability). Meaning full info is generated by BI in two different approaches - Technology and Process
